★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Havanın güzel olduğu bir gece, Nasreddin Hoca, kuyudan su çekmeye karar vermiş.Elindeki kovası, bahçedeki kuynun başına gelmiş. Tam kovayı sarkıtacağı sırada, kuyunun içinde Ay’ı görmüş:
..__Eyvah!… Ay kuyuya düşmüş, diye üzülmüş. Sonra da Ay’ı kuyudan nasıl çıkaracağını düşünmüş. Aklına kovası gelmiş. Ay’ kova ile çıkarmaya karar vermiş.
Kovayı, ipiyle kuyuya sarktıtmış. Kova, suya değince de ,çekmaya başlamış. Su ile ağırlaşan kova bir süre sonra, kuyu duvarına takılmış. Nasrettin Hoca, kovayı ne kadar çekmek istemişse de bir türlü becerememiş.
Kan ter içinde kalmış. Kovanın yukarı gelmemesinin nedenini , Ay’ın ağır olmasına vermiş. Kovayı, yukarı çekmeyi sürdürmüş……
Fakat ipi o kadar şiddetli asılmışki, ip kopmuş. Nasreddin Hoca da, sırt üstü yere yuvarlanmış.
Nasrettin hoca, gözünü açınca, gökte parıldamakta olan Ay’ı görmüş,
__Oh, çok şükür!.. Epeyce uğraştım, epeyce yoruldum, ama, sonunda Ay2ı kuyudan çıkarmayı başardım…Bu iş bütün yorgunluğuma değdi… demiş.
One night when the weather was nice, Nasreddin Hodja decided to draw water from the well. He saw the Moon in the well, just as he was dangling the bucket:
..__ Alas!… The moon fell into the well, she was upset. Then he thought of how to get the Moon out of the well. He thought of his bucket. The Moon has decided to take it out with a bucket.
He dropped the bucket into the well with a string. When the bucket touched the water, it started to pull. The bucket, which gets heavier with water, is attached to the well wall after a while. No matter how much Nasrettin Hodja wanted to pull the bucket, he couldn't do it.
The blood is sweaty. He gave the reason that the bucket did not come up, because the moon was heavy. He continued to pull the bucket up ……
But the rope was hung so violently that the rope was broken. Nasreddin Hodja also rolled to the ground on his back.
When Nasrettin Hodja opened his eyes, he saw the moon shining in the sky,
__Oh, thank goodness! .. I tried quite a bit, I was quite tired, but finally I managed to get the moon out of the well ... This job was worth all my tiredness ... he said.
