Kumbet, located in the south of the Han Mosque on Kayseri Talas Street, is a two-storey, octagonal grave monument made of cut stone in the XII century. The mummy part under the vault has a square plan and its entrance is in the east direction. Under the octagonal cone of the second floor, there is an inscription circulating round the cupboard on the exterior. The meaning of this inscription is as follows: “This grave is the deceased, anxious, the great commander, the owner of Cemal Cemaleddin Tanriverdi bin Davud. May Allah lighten your maqam. God has no god but Him. He is the manager who is always alive and protects his creations. Neither sleep nor sleep. All that is in the heavens and the earth is His. Who can intercede on his own floor without his permission. They cannot grasp anything but their front and back. His chair has folded the heavens and the earth. Protecting them is not heavy for him. He is great, he is great. There is no coercion in religion. Accuracy has been chosen from perversion and h.584 (1188) ”.

The ambiance of the mosque is nice, but it may not have been a mosque in the past.

Date per step in Kayseri.13. It is thought that the building, which was built in the 17th century during the Seljuk period, was not a "mosque" but an "inn" when it was first built. Han Mosque draws attention with its interior architecture, which is without a dome but has six windows. It is located on Seyyid Burhanettin Boulevard in the city center of Kayseri. It is very close to the Kayseri cemetery and the center.

For me, the disappointment of Kayseri was this mosque. I thought it was very beautiful and splendid since it was converted from an old inn to a mosque. I was wrong. It's not very nice outside. There are no beautiful ornaments, calligraphy, etc. that need to be seen inside. This place could have been done much better.
