★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Bugün akçaabatın köyleri ile birlikte halkın haftası olduğu halde eski kalabalıktan hiçbir canlılık ve alış veriş hareketi kalmamıştır. Otuz beş yıllık ticari tecrübeme binaen söylüyorum ne köylünün alım gücü,ne de şehirlinin alım gücü kalmadığını gözlemledim.
Bu hareketsizlik akçaabat esnafını ileride daha da çok zor günlerin beklediği anlamına gelir.!
