★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maneviyat huzur. Insanin manevi yaninida agir basmasi gerekiyor. Caminin icine girince allahin huzuruna gelmis gibi oluyorum. Müslümanların birlik ve beraberligini kuvvetlendirdigi ve alkah korkusunun kalbe yerlestigi yerler.
Spirituality of spirituality. The human has to press the spiritual side. I feel like I've come to the goddamn mosque. It is the place where the Muslims have strengthened their unity and solidarity and the fear of the alkah is located in the heart.

Camiinin mermer kitaabesinde camii nin selaahattin adında birisi tarafından yaptırıldığı yazılıdır.. Evliya çelebi seyaahat namesinde 210.sayfada milas velilerini sayarken selaahattin sultan isminden bahsetmektedir. Ara,, ara camiinin milas ileri gelenleri tarafındanda tamiri yapıldığı bilinmektedir.. . Son cemaat yerinin çatı kısmı üç kubbe ile örtülüdür.. Caminiin minaresine, yöreye has bir mimari ile, minmeri hatırlatan şekil verilmiştir.. Yirmi yedi basamaklıdır.. Son cemaat yeri kemer kısmı iş güzarlık ile duvar örülerek doldurulmuş bazı kısımlarıda metal doğramalar ile örtülüp tarihi dokusu iyice bozulmuştur..

The roof of the narthex is covered with three domes. The minaret of the mosque has been given a shape reminiscent of a minmar with an architecture unique to the region.
