★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There wasn't much information here and it is used like a botanical park now. It was free to enter and a good place to take photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely loved the castle. The municipality has taken great care of this historical castle. The views from the castle are stunning. There is a parking lot prior to crossing to the island. It is very convenient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place you sure want to visit!
It’s very clean and well taken care off.
The views are really magnificent, also die to its location, which basically in the middle of the sea.
You can have a walk around the castle and its fortifications.
This all creates a beautiful atmosphere and allows you to travel back in time just for one second and feel how it was some hundred years ago.
Absolutely recommended to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting how the people’s idea to connect the land and island initially accessible by sea left a legacy for future generations with the walkable path that displays with photos the transition. When I visited there was no admission charge or tickets to enter the fort style island, which provides an outdoor scape for locals and visitors to relax and see history. Plus, during my visit the municipality was performing maintenance at the entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well worth about an hour of your time. We visited in mid January between 4-6pm. It was cold so make sure if you visit at this time of year you dress accordingly.
Lots of steps, but mostly even. Take your camera as some excellent views. Unsuitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Lots of information boards in both English and Turkish. There are taxis available at the beginning of the jetty, and several restaurants nearby too (but none inside).
