Milet aynı zamanda bir değil dört limana sahip olan İonia'nın en eski ve en önemli Yunan şehirlerinden biriydi. Bugün dünyanın dört bir yanından gelen turist kalabalığı, Milet'in sırlarını keşfetme zevkini bu alana ulaşmayı başaran küçük meraklı ziyaretçi gruplarına bırakıyor.
