The worse experience anyone can get. We were group 15 boys and most of us were lucky to be alive after that experience of wrapting. There was only one guy to supervise 15 of us and suddenly half way this guy was shouting for everyone to jump off the boat and everyone panic and got off and most of us were hurt during the process Don’t use them. It’s very badly managed

Great place to spend a day or two. I stayed in a bungalow with air conditioning and a bathroom. Don't expect luxury everything is very basic but gets the job done. Other facilities are also available like swimming pool and Restaurant etc. I would definitely recommend this place.

It was one of the little good days, I went with my wife and daughter. The water was so cold and my legs were freezing. So if you want to visit that place you have to prepare for it with a plastic shoes or something that protects your legs.

Crazy busy during the day but charming at night - ask for a treehouse room for the full experience but be ready for some lopsided, slightly creaky engineering and busy shared bathrooms (the coach tours don't tend to find the bathroom block further from the river). Fantastic so long as your expectations are correctly set! Also worth noting that getting in to the gorge at opening time (8.30am) is worth it to beat the hordes.

Quite comfortable campground with good facilities including a pool, hot water and good, clean toilets. There are several campsite beside the river. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are several restaurants at the campground and down the road. There's also a small supermarket nearby. The campground restaurant plays loud music during the day which can be annoying and it's very busy. It quietens down at night. It's at the entrance of the gorge which is amazing. Visit the gorge early (before 10) to avoid the crowds and queues. It gets very busy later in the day. I recommend walking up to the waterfall (difficult in parts) which is as far as you can go without climbing equipment. Prepare to get wet.

This is the second time Ive been to Saklikent gorge and i was surprised how low the water was this time. Arrive at the gorge and pay 15TL (£1) to access the gorge. Go through turnstill and narrow wooden footway leafs above the clear fast moving water into the gorge. There are a couple of places to buy ice cream, drinks but nothing major inside. You have to enter the freezing water by striding over large boulders which can be slippery...so beware of cameras etc. A rope assists you to walk through the fast moving knee high water. But it can be thigh height. Once you have traversed the fast flow its a gentle assault course through shingle and smooth boulders as you pass through some wonderful scenery with vistas high up into canyon above. Outside the gorge you can eat fish, chicken or kebab, all with salad for just 10TL. Drinks extra. We went on the inflatable rings down the river for 40TL each. Great fun and they pick you up at the other end of the river and drive you back to your belongings. Spend the whole day here its a great day.

Amazing gorge. Be prepared to wade icy cold waist deep water in the first 800 yards. People will help you and there is a rope to hang onto. Then the water in the gorge is only. Calf deep. You can walk 2 miles easily up the gorge before the going gets steeper and involves climbing waterfalls. The way the water has cut and smoothed its river bed is interesting and photogenic

No words can describe how awful the rafting experience our group of 15 people received. I have been to many places for rafting but this place was one of the worst, under staffed, life threatening experience. No health and safety briefing. I thought me & one of my friend are going to die. The person who was leading us all of a sudden after around 10-15 minutes started shouting that we should get off. While we are trying to get off the ring float the stream pushed us so fast around 20 yards that we couldn’t go on the shore. Every single person was in a shock. I was lucky that on of my friend came with he’s float & I managed to jump on he’s float & we managed to get off together otherwise he would have been in trouble too. The owner was lying on the chair chilling & did not have any sympathy towards us. When we asked for refund he said why & kept on repeating the same word & I think that’s only word he knows.
