The area is very wide I have never tried but the balloon is the best way to see the whole view I guess

What surprises me is that the door is at the back and not able to enter. There was a castle and tombs that smell of history, but you can't see why because a business used it as a warehouse. How painful. Just to complain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This rock in the city is an example of the carved tombs prevalent in Cappadocia. The bodies were placed in these dugout holes, often with personal possessions needed in the “afterlife”. High tombs were preferred as this was closer to heaven before “judgement”. Often the rock on the front of the tomb entrance would be carved too to give it more status. This example even has remnants of carved columns!
