Ülkemizde 10 milyondan fazla içten yanmalı motor olduğu gözönüne alındığında, motor yenileme sektörünün önemi maliyet yükü ve riski en yüksek işlemdir. motor ve silindir kapağı yenileme firmaları arasında makine parkı eksiksiz olan ve revizyon metodlarını bilinçli şekilde uygulayan firma sayısı çok azdır.
