Golden Sand Beach Club - Ölüdeniz Cd. No:2

The worse place to go for accommodation. Stay away from the caravan accommodation because they will only wake you up with loud acid trance music in the early morning if you manage to fall asleep through the wild parties and naked people. The actual accommodation is filthy and we even had worms crawl out in the bathroom. We asked multiple times to get the room serviced to no avail. Breakfast was as oily as a Ford oil pan. The only thing going for them is the location but with such louzy service they even managed to screw that up. We demanded our money back, because we had to find alternative accommodation and after legal intervention we finally got it back. This place is not fit for even a pig.

+People running this place are nice, friendly and helpful +Beach is cool and you can rent kayak for good price. Really good experience. -However, other facilities are rundown, and dirty. Need major revamped. It's cheap for a reason.

"These caravans really make me tired" as said by our host when complaining about not having water. Unfortunately we had to ask over and over that they please clean our room after three days but to no avail. We arrived in the middle of a hectic party with "acid trance" music and it did not stop until late. We then after very little sleep get rocked out of our sleep early in the morning with loud music from the bar. It seemed like they don't know what they want to be (bar, beach club, accommodation or functions catering) On our third night we had to endure a wedding party with people so drunk that they stripped their clothes. This place offers nothing to but stress, a lack of privacy and restless nights. We constantly had unwanted visitors sitting in front of our unit. This happened too many times to say it was daily but too little to say hourly. But if we left our room or arrived there was someone sitting there as if we paid for them to sit there. We had no toilet paper and no real service in the lines of hospitality. The breakfast is miserable and omelets more oily than the parking spot of an old Ford Tractor. We checked out before our planned time after finding parasitic worms in the bathroom. Talking of the excuse of a bathroom, with inadequate draining and a toilet that you can use while taking a shower... and parasitic worms. The ablution facilities are so dirty and there is no hot water at any given time. Don't try changing your phone because the power cuts every time you close the door. Plugs are also very inconveniently allocated and there are not enough of them. I believe that to enjoy this place would ultimately mean that: 1) you are using very strong drugs (loads of it). Or 2) you are intoxicated (near alcohol poisoning). Or 3) You are a vegetable. The only positive thing I can say about the place is that it is located very well, but unfortunately the owner has no idea what he is doing. I have traveled third world countries and have never seen a more pathetic accommodation facility than this one. If you were thinking about stopping by I would recommend you to RUN ! Also note that I have very few bad reviews of places and consider this my worse experience ever in any country. All sorts of Parasites invading your privacy and health, loud music and a that you can take a dump while showering in cold water (with real parasites). These are the memories I take home.

Great beach lovely attentive staff good food

Good location and quiet in October, plenty of fish for you snorkeling people.Facilities are also very good and clean. Finally food is good and at a reasonable price.

Lovely beach very private feeling,service was excellent from the club staff especially Jimmy who speaks English and was so helpful,had a very enjoyable time would highly recommend visiting. Don't miss this place on you're list of places to visit.

I was visiting the Turkish coast to hike the Lycian Way (Lykia Yolu) and stopped at Golden Sand. I was greeted by Selçuk who was very welcoming and helped make recommendations during my stay. During the winter many places were closed but I had a great time hiking and enjoying the beach. I highly recommend taking a suite, which was very comfortable and relaxing. I want to return in the summer as I had good memories staying 3 nights at Golden Sand Beach Club.
