★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company seems to be some sort of scam, I am trying to notify them that I have to change the pickup or cancel, they never amswer.
I booked through carflex, their also not aproachable and perhaps.some sort of scam too.
The amount to be blocked on my card seems to change evry time I check the booking and the fuel policy stipulates that you have to pay for at least 2 tanks, its realy weird and the only thing stated when I booked was " full to full" which is the best.
Avoid, there is no way I would trust this outfitt with a substantial deposit, no whatsoever.
It seems extremely shady.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid at all costs. Paid for insurance online but was told I have to take Goldcar insurance too. When I declined, they said I would have to pay a large deposit - which I agreed to. However, they then said they wouldn’t accept any of my cards.
Classic scam rental agency. It’s not worth the headache - use Budget or one of the bigger rental agencies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A long walk to the desk, which is in the domestic terminal. It turns out that their insurance is probably the best to go for, as unlike the one sold when you book online, you won't need to get a police report which could involve waiting around and all sorts of other complications, and doesn't cost much more.
The car was almost brand new and the price was very reasonable too.
We'll be using them again next year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had booked the car months ago with my flight details. A week before my flight i got an email saying our opening hours have changed and the time you land we are now closed so we cant arrange your car. I have booked cars before from other companies and as long as you have a booking there is someone in the airport 24 hours to greet you and to make sure you get your car. I tried to give this company a go regardless of the 1 star reviews it has but obviously there is a reason everyone has given 1 star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst car experience I have ever made.
We wanted to pick up the car and had walk all over the airport because there was no sign or anything - all other company's were there. At the end we found it in the parking instead of a normal shop in the airport.
Then we had to wait 40 min because the people before as had big troubles.
Then it was finally our turn to pick up the car but the very unfriendly woman dind‘t want to accept the payment by apple pay neither my American express card and neither the card of my friend because this is their company policy.
At the end we had to pay the pre booking fees (100 Euro) and had no car.
This is the reason why they are that cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I arrived, there were 3 people, now it has been 30 min and there are still 2 people. Avoid in all costs. PS: They dont answer the phones.
Managed to start the process in 45 min with 3 people in front. Total process time took 15 min for me too. No choice of a car, you take what is given. Finished the process, then additionally waited for another 15 min for the car to be ready. Simply 1 hour to pick up a car
In terms of the insurance, I was told that there is no insurance on the cars, hence min coverage is strongly suggested. You don’t want to be in a situation like this. Which will mean that Goldcar is not that cheap anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been lucky to have great experiences so far with goldcar in several countries, but I guess today I was not so lucky with the car that they gave me. I usually go with goldcar because they advertise cars not older than 3 years, the newest fleet in europe... or so they say. How the hell did they give me an old citroen elysee without LCD display (meaning no navigation or android auto) is beyond me. Most certainly a citroen elysee newer than 2018 has a basic LCD with phone support, so this is a case of false advertisement. Even they had dozens of cars parked in their area, they can still say "sorry, they are all booked". Mine was booked too, and paid well in advance. Am I less client than others? I don't like this attitude. If I am less important than other clients despite my multiple bookings, then certainly there are other car rentals willing.
