Just like our professor explained, each Medrese has a symmetrical structure which represents one of the Islamic concepts teaching that all our deeds are projected upon our afterlives. Unfortunately, currently the medrese is closed for visitors because of the renovation works. However, the front looks spectacular.

Very beautiful and wondrous to see this 13th century AC building surrounded by this very 1970s neighborhood.
Defos worth a quick stop on your way through Sivas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a "must see" place, but unfortunately it is currently being renovated. You can still view the outer walls and minarets, but there is scaffolding blocking some of the view of the exquisite tiles and patterns. The corner patterns are particularly impressive.
