In the 2020-2021 academic year, the name of the school, which was called Single Campus, was changed to the 2nd Term Girne American College. During the summer vacation, we were called many times about registration renewal. While we were renewing our registration, when we asked the new school principal if there would be any financial problems regarding the continuity of the school, she said that the new owners of the school were financially strong and that Girne American University was behind them, and there was no reason to hesitate financially. They invited us to the school on the weekend when the schools would open, without giving a reason. They stated that the school could not reach the required number of enrollments and they made a loss, and they decided to close the school in order not to cause further damage. After all, they turned all our plans upside down in the LGS exam year, which was a very important year for us.
