The first and only Geomatics department in Ankara is an extremely successful department that makes its first graduates mention in 2018 despite its name. I strongly recommend it to students who will make choices and who are in the first 100 thousand.

Bolumun ingilizce olmasi bir cok avantaji saglamaktadir. 4 yıl boyunca degerli hocalarimdan aldigim bilgiler beni her alanda ileriye tasidi. Dersler guncel bilgilere gore işlenmektedir. Ayrıca bölüm icinde ulusal ve uluslararası bir cok proje yürütülmektedir. Projelerde lisans ogrencelerine de cogunlukla yer verilmektedir. Bu bolumden mezun oldugum icin mutluyum.
It is the only geomatics engineering department in Ankara. The fact that the section is in English provides many advantages. The information I received from my esteemed professors for 4 years carried me forward in every field. Courses are taught according to current information. In addition, many national and international projects are carried out within the department. Undergraduate students are also often included in the projects. I am happy to graduate from this department.

It gains importance as it is the only geomatics engineering in Ankara and it is included in the prestigious Hacettepe university. It is a privileged department that makes a difference in its field with its dynamic academic staff and constantly improving course curriculum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Öğretim çok disiplinli, sıkı mühendis yetiştiriyorlar. Ama mutlaka ve mutlaka kontenjanı yarı yarıya azaltılması lazım. Bu nedenle bina büyüklüğü derslik kapasitesi yetersiz kalıyor. YÖK oturduğu yerden ezbere kontenjan artırıyor.
Teaching is multi-disciplinary, they train strict engineers. But the quota should definitely be reduced by half. For this reason, the size of the building and the classroom capacity are insufficient. YÖK increases the quota by rote from where it sits.
