Tesis, 2011 yılında devreye alınmış olup, yatırım bedeli 67.329.414,15 TL’dir. Tesis 670.000 eşdeğer nüfusa hizmet etmektedir.
Tesis bünyesinde 2.000m3/gün kapasiteli UV dezenfeksiyon ünitesi bulunmaktadır. Burada ileri arıtıma tabi tutulan sular yeşil alan sulanması kullanılmaktadır.
Gebze Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant, constructed by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality ISU General Directorate; It is a wastewater treatment plant with a long aerated activated sludge system capable of advanced nitrogen and phosphorus removal, where wastewater treatment from Gebze, Çayırova and Darıca districts is treated.
The facility was commissioned in 2011 and the investment value is 67.329.414,15 TL. The facility serves 670,000 equivalent populations.
There is a UV disinfection unit with a capacity of 2.000m3 / day on site. Here, water treated with advanced treatment is used for green area irrigation.
