Former Governor's Mansion

Kars Chamber of Commerce is right across and next to the Kars Office Building. It has a beautiful view from the garden in a place overlooking the city. It was the former governor's mansion. Now the police are waiting there and still using it as a service building, but I don't know exactly what it is.

I think the starting point of visiting Kars should be the governor's building. It was done in 1883 by a Russian merchant. And it is located at an intersection with sample buildings of the Russian building school in the city. ==== The important events that the building has witnessed in history are that it served as the administrative building in the Republic of Kars, which had a 4-month life in 1919, and that it was the building where the Kars Agreement was signed by Kazim Karabekir Pasha in 1921. Because the Atatürk Park, where I shot this square, was built as a gesture of the people of Kocael to Kars.

It is a beautiful structure. Especially with snow and night lighting. I need to confirm the accuracy, but I have read that the Treaty of Kars was signed here. I think this region is the most beautiful region of Kars at night, of course, under the snow.

This is the first thing that comes to mind when you see the old buildings while visiting Kars. There are many old buildings. I say see it when you come to Kars.

The fact that the old governor's office built in the 40 years of Russian domination and the structures around it are among the most striking structures of the city, in fact, should be the transmitter for us.
