I have to write for those students who left this university with cold heart but no one know what was happen to them. Generally, people in the university are good but while it is coming to, International relation office be aware of these facts. 1.You will be treat according to your nationality, if you are coming from Europe you have a big lift up. If you are from a poor country like Iraq or Syria then everything is worse. 2.Shouting on students in official office, or in official email, abusing anyone by it is nationality; his/her color or his identity is more than a normal action. Here is template of their email, which was send to us in response to critic their English language. 3.Bureaucracy and extorting scholarship is happening most of the time. I did not receive my Erasmus scholarship because I did not visit the office in person. However, I am not alone in this case; my second friend from Romania 100-euro deposit was extorted because of not paying for washing powder which was provided by the office, which had cost 10 TL I wish one day there will be great changes in this office; the rest university is good with nice environment.

Fırat University is a state university based in Elazig, Turkey. The university was founded in 1975 and named after the Turkish name of the Euphrates River which originates near Elazığ. Being one of the major academic institutions in the Eastern Turkey, the university has twelve schools, four institutes, one state conservatory, three vocational high schools and twenty one research centers with a strong emphasis on scientific and technological advancement and research.
