★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small museum but a lot of interesting things found locally and from different periods in history. Well laid out with detailed information about the sites. The archaeological garden is great too. Any UK museum would be proud to have any one of the statues or sarcophagi, and here is a whole collection right in the place they came from. Free entry and good air conditioning make it a welcome change to the bustle of Fethiye.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are in Fethiye and you have an hour and a half in the evening, you should definitely visit and then indulge in sweet thoughts while having a meal at a nice restaurant by the sea. Good memories :)

Tiny but awesome museum with big ancient statues, columns and other interesting things!
It is structured, modern and clean, has outdoor area with benches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all Archaeological Museum of Fethiye is free. When we look at the exhibits in it, there are huge statues which is found in Kaunos and Tlos ancient cities. In addition there are lots of jewelleries, tools and multilingual tablets. In garden you will see lots of sarcophagus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impressive getaway from the beach holidays. Museum is not large but full of well arranged exhibits and historical data. Loan agreement carved in stone inspires optimism re modern paper debts. It's a great teaser and planner for exploration of Fethiye area. And don't forget to check the museum garden - exhibition to be continued there.
