İDO costs nothing but you'll have an opportunity to have a journey across the sea which is no less exciting than with special trip ships

- cheapest way to transport to Istanbul . If you have a Vehicle and you have lot if time . Better go through no-tolls road . Cost me 115tl to go from yalova to Istanbul Bridge cost me last time around 190tl - really enjoyable trip as you will go through sea . Plus Seabreeze ? - save time and Energy is you are tired Park your vehicle or stay up Let them do the transportation

Rather than cross on the bridge we opted for the scenic route. Arrived, no queues, loaded ferry efficiently and had a peaceful sailing across to the other side. Great value for money. If you can spare the time, want to stretch your legs or enjoy the views the ferry is highly recommended.

Opt for this rather than the bridge. Firstly, I'd like to point out that I had never been on a Ferry before. The closest I had come was seeing it in movies. So when our tour guide stopped at the station to cross the Marmara Sea for Bursa, I was confused. I thought this is where we bid adieu and meet another guide on the other side. Then our tour bus started to ride into the ferry. I was excited beyond words. This is only something I had seen in movies/games. After we parked and disembarked, I hurried to the top deck and took a long deep breath. This was a dream come true. Between long commutes to Bursa from Istanbul, this was a great way to stretch our legs and enjoy the beauty of the sea. Apparently this port is quite busy as I witnessed many ferries crossing the sea. A cafe was also available but I only wanted to enjoy the scenic route. If you're a Tourist booking for a tour to Bursa from Istanbul, then make sure to ask your guide to include this in the package (if they hadn't already)! Your tour will get so much more better.
