It is a very large ancient ruin dedicated to the river god built by the Roman emperor in the name of his wife. It can be seen that even in the surviving ruins there are cold and hot bath sections and a magnificent entrance. The large statue coming out of the bathhouse is exhibited in the museum.

The bath, which is 150 meters away from the ancient theater in the ancient city of Miletos in the distirict of Balat, Didim, Aydin, was built by the Roman emperor Marcus Avrelius in the name of his wife Faustina. The bath was dedicated to the river god Maendros. Today, the Maendros statue and the lion statue, similar to which are placed on the side of the large pool of the bath, are in the Miletos Museum. The original of the Nusa statue found around the bathhouse is exhibited in the Istanbul Archaeology Museum. Please thank you for having these works.

Baths of the imperial era, which consisted an integral part of the everyday life in the roman cities, have been found scattered all over the town plan of Miletus. Among them, the Baths of Faustina situated at the north of the theatre hill near the homonymous port and the stadium of the city, stand out. The complex is well preserved, therefore its particular spaces can be discerned.
