★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best location I have been with my wife to eat real delicious turkish food. Small nice place with amazing turkish dumplings. I recommend everybody to visit this place. Especially Gül Katmeri is a must to try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow… Spoiler alert! This is not an restaurant. You’re simply visiting your gifted, skilled cook sister at her home. I am a strict vegan and they do have plenty of options available for Vegans and Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) options. Luckily we found this little gem. Most of the veggies and legumes are from their very own garden. Don’t skip this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a gem! The family who runs this place is so kind and you can tell they’re very passionate about the food. We had the manti and vegetarian testi. The manti was unlike manti we’ve had before - highly recommend trying! The testi was really neat and very good as well! Also had the kunefe cheese dessert. It was so good we finished it all :)

I got the manti and the soup in the photo. Don’t miss the place if you want to have something beyond kebab and look for the real Turkish cuisine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing family restaurant. The food is local and very tasty. The cooks (Fatma lady and her mother-in-law) really serve the food as if it was prepared at home. Her husband, Yakup, is also very friendly and warm, and his service is exceptional. In short, it should be the only place you eat when you come to Avanos!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners are very friendly and taking the business serious. They aimed to serve perfect so they are keeping things very natural and homemade. Almost everything is made by them or their family members. I appreciate it and got one of the best dinner on my Cappadocia visit. PS: for better service and timing, you better call before 14.00 and make reservations for your dish and table. *PS: Testi kebabı (the Jug Stew with meat) need two hours to cook so you should call upfront. Enjoy ? ?

It is family owned and run and the food is better than top tier restaurants. The hospitality and service is the best we’ve had here. The husband and wife duo cannot be beat! Very friendly people. Can’t wait to come back soon!
