In time, the General Directorate of Foundations took over the repairs made without knowledge and started to restore them in accordance with their architecture. The Old Church (Fatih Mosque), with its historical texture, are among the historical buildings that should be seen in the center of Yozgat, such as mansions, historical artifacts, museum etc. It is a work very close to the locations.

I could not find any information about the mosque. Generally, information is given for such buildings. My guess is it must be a converted mosque. This is what I understand from the interior architecture and the name.

he mosque Fatih Cami is located in the district of Istanbulluoğlu - in the northwest of the Çapanoğlu (Great) Mosque - about 150 meters away from it. The church, which has long been used for other purposes, was named Fatih Mosque in 1996. The sanctuary is divided into three naves with two rows of tripods facing east-west. The ships are covered with barrel vaults. The central nave is wider. The pillars sit on tall square plinths. They have thin caps with spiral corners. There is an apse that does not protrude to the east, and there are pastaforiom cells on the sides. In the west, a U-shaped mahfili extends like a gallery towards the south and north wings. A mihrab niche was opened on the south facade. Large arched lower and upper windows on the vertical axis illuminate the interior. To the west is a three-part narthex. The narthex is covered with a flat blanket. Today the narthex opens with three round arches covered with a glass front. The narthex has a two-story exterior that overflows rectangularly to the south and north. To the northwest of the narthex is the bell tower. The Fatih Mosque has a hipped roof and a thin eaves profile. There is no decoration inside or outside the mosque. We visited them on August 14th, 2021 and mentioned them in the "Travel Report Tokat Yozgat Part 75" and described them as recommendable.
