magical place, a+ hospitality. we stayed two nights, the owner and his staff (including "joy", the black lab retreiver guard puppy) went out of their way making our stay in cappadocia a real joy (a small note: i have never seen anywhere else in room minibar prices for water and drinks having no mark up from supermarket prices)

The landscape and location of the hotel is really good, breakfast time should be early. We did not face any negative behaviour by staff. We can recommend the hotel but you can choose a cave hotel in Goreme like it, if you do not have a car, because it is a bit far away from center.

An amazing place. Mehmet, the owner, is extremely welcoming and will try to help you with whatever you need. The hotel is well located, particularly for watching the sunset, watching hot air balloons in the morning (they sometimes come right up to the hotel!), and hiking. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely return (and hope to!).

A gorgeous cave hotel near red valley and fairy chimneys with INCREDIBLE VIEWS of the magical hot air balloons. Owner and family made our stay very welcoming and pleasant. Breakfast was served to our door for an outside view of the balloons and peaceful valley. The beds are comfortable (trust me, not all beds are the same..) and that's important because you will be tired from your programs! The bathrooms and bedrooms were all very tidy and clean, much better than other hotels so it felt comfortable. We also had a few accomodations since we travelled with 4 children. We were able to make space for extra cots and a pack n play, no problem. The rooms are quite spacious. Please do not worry, if you drive, follow the signs and you will find the Fairyland Cave Hotel at the very top of a winding small road. It looks like you're going no where but trust that you are going the right way and it will be worth it!!! You can walk on many paths to see the balloons in the morning, as well as take some very clear shots from your balcony, or even watch them rise right from your own bed. Enjoy your stay!

We stayed there end of September for a couple of days in one of the cave rooms. It is really a great location to watch the balloons early in the morning. You just need to go behind the hotel. The room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with many home made food. The staff is great! Mehmet Bey and his dog Joy were extremely friendly.

Beautiful hotel with great accomodations, including an amazing breakfast and incredible views of the hot air balloons.

Everything was totally fabulous! I’m trying to be objective, but I am so exited, that it’s difficult :) 1. The best view point on balloons! You don’t need to ride anywhere, just wake up at 6-7 am and come to hotel terrace and see spectacular balloons view ? Some balloons are so close, so you can talk with people in baskets. Of course, your photos will be fabulous 2. The owner Mehmed provides a really excellent quality of service. We got everything we need: lighter coat, wine glasses, earlier breakfast, balloon flight, green tour and airport transfer reservations, etc. Additionally, he is very intelligent and humorous man with whom it is always pleasant to chat 3. Quite and comfortable rooms. We almost did not intersect with other guests, just on breakfast. If you looking for some rest and privacy, you like this hotel. Additionally, we have room with jacuzzi near window and it was amazing to chill in it in the morning, to drink coffee and see balloons on window! ❤️ Room was cleaned every day, so even natural for cave hotels process as walls and ceiling crumbling was invisible. The temperature inside rooms was comfort, not hot at day and not cold at night 4. Delicious and diverse breakfast with omelette, 3 kinds of olives, 4 kinds of cheese, various jams, honey, baking and fruits. You can ask for additional portion, but you will not need it :) Tasty Turkish tea is unlimited 5. Two kind and smart dogs ? But they are big, so if you afraid of dogs you may not like it, bet we liked so much ? So, the hotel is amazing and we wish to it and Mehmed prosperity and success. Important, that it is not directly in Goreme, it’s in 5 km in little village Chausin. Due to it you can totally immerse in atmosphere of old cave town without too mush tourists, obsessive traders and plastic souvenirs. Finally, all of cave hotels here are very similar, so it will be better to choose by location and service. In this, Fairyland Cave Hotel will be the best, we recommend it to all who want to get unbelievable emotions from Cappadocia.
