Sultan Şeyhmus, one of the elders of the saints, who was the student of Hz. Abdulkadir Geylani, was born in Mardin in 1077 and died in Mardin in 1164. His title in the tomb was Şeyh Musa, and it evolved over time and turned into Sultan Şeyhmus, as the local people use it. His real name is Musa bin Mahin ez-Zuhi.
