Caminin yapılış tarihi ve kimin tarafından yapıldığı veya yaptırıldığı konusunda yeterli bilgi bulunmamaktadır. 1586 tarihli Şer-i Mahkeme Sicillerinden bu tarihten önce yapıldığını anlıyoruz. İçten çapraz tonozludur. Altı gözlü son cemaat yerinin gerisinde duvarla çevrili dış avlusu mevcuttur. Mihrap siyah vişne çürüğü ve beyaz mermerle çeşitli geometrik şekillerden oluşan süslemeyi ihtiva eder. Merdivenle çıkmalı minberi ve vaaz kürsüsü mevcuttur. Minaresi tek şerefeli olup şerefe altı mukarnaslıdır.Gövde ve petek kısımları bilezik ve sağır kemerlerle süslenmiştir.

It is in Eyüpoğlu neighborhood, which is known by its name. There is not enough information about the construction date of the mosque and by whom it was built or built. We understand from the Şer-i Court Records dated 1586 that it was made before this date. It has an internal cross vault. Behind the six-eyed narthex, there is an outer courtyard surrounded by a wall. The mihrab is decorated with black cherry rot and white marble and various geometric shapes. There is a pulpit with a ladder and a preaching stand. Its minaret has a single balcony, and has a mukarnas under the balcony.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oyuncak müzesine çok yakın, 1400 lu yıllardan kalma bir cami. Ancak cami inşa edilirken estetik kaygılar pek önemsememiş gibi, sadece minaresinde süslemeler var. Yine de tarihi bir binanın o güzel hissi var.
A mosque dating back to 1400s, very close to the toy museum. However, as the mosque was built, aesthetic concerns did not care much, but only in the minaret. Still, it has a nice feeling of a historic building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Güzel küçük şirin bir cami. 6 7 saf sığacak kadar bir genişliği var. Keyif verici serinliği ile yaz sıcağında sığınılabilir. Eskiyi andıran izleri ile tarihi atmosferini koruyor. Bahçede iki ayrı şadırvan var. Allah kılınan namazları kabul etsin. Çarşıya yakın olduğu için bazen ses gelebiliyor.
Beautiful little cute mosque. It has a width of 6 to fit 7 pure. With its pleasant coolness, it is possible to take refuge in the summer heat. It preserves its historical atmosphere with its traces that resemble the old. There are two separate fountains in the garden. May Allah accept the prayers. Since it is close to the bazaar, sometimes sound can be heard.

When you come to Gaziantep, you should definitely visit its historical mosques. Eyüpoğlu Mosque is one of these historical mosques. After visiting this place, also visit the nearby bey neighborhood toy museum and Atatürk memorial museum.
