★ ★ ★ ★ ★ unique mosque in anatolia. it is like forest thanks to the cedar coloumns and the tiles in the mosque are amazing. the central pool used to be filled up bu snow to cool down the place during summer. nice restoration was done inside the mosque but the ceiling of the snow pool needs to be opened up to keep the wooden columns in good condition... worth to change route from antalya to cappadocia or vice versa. you can also visit it on the way to pamukkale from konya or cappaodocia. enjoy!

The justification statements is "Esrefoglu Mosque includes all the main elements of early Anatolian Turkish architecture. The building is the biggest, best preserved wooden columned and roofed mosque in Islamic World.
