Camiye sonradan yapılan ilaveler caminin orijinaline zarar vermiş. Cuma günleri çok kalabalık olduğu için mecburen ilaveler yapılmış. Yaz aylarında bu ve benzeri camilere gelip orada yatan insanların arasında namaz kılmak hiç hoşuma gitmiyor. Camide yatılması bana nahoş geliyor. Eski saray camisinin avlusu, avludaki çınar ağacı ve bol su akan onlarca musluktan akan suları ile tipik bir Osmanlı camisidir. Yaptıranların Allah razı olsun.
