★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The verse of Quran called Kehf tells metaphysical events happened in this cave. The story describes one of the pillars of Muslim faith: afterlife or life after death. The story says that Allah hibernated 7 sleepers one of them is a guardian dog to keep them away from Roman’s chasing because of their faith in Allah. And after 300 years of near death experience in the cave, Allah reinstated the dead skeletons reviving them as live humans in flesh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are some interesting caves nearby however I don’t believe that this is the true cave of the ashab-e-kahf. In any case there are very nice farmers here selling their products.
