Ercİyes Ski Resort

Good infrastructure, wide choice of ski rental equipment, school for beginners, nice slops. Everything is close to each other, meal, drinks are everywhere, clean enough. Strongly recommended. Prices are reasonable.

One of the best ski resort in Turkey, great slopes and snow quality. You can also try traditional Kayseri dishes in the big restaurant with decent prices and services.

Place is sooo huge. A nice skiing experience with a multiple of skiing and skating options Its very crowded and no precautions of covid taken unfortunately. Very nice experience and a must visit place.

We were with kids in the second week of semestre holiday in Erciyes for skiing. It was a complete disappointment. In 4 days, they opened only 2 times x half day the slopes. Especially on Thursday the weather was as nice as you see in pictures, but no lift was working. After 4 boring days, we decided to check-out and leave Erciyes. What we understood, the management wants to keep lifts open only at weekend and for any small reason they close all slopes during week. This is our feeling. If you want to go there, try to be there at weekend.

Amazing place. Good price, nice place, 102 km long, 3 different types of roads (blue, red, black). It is possible buy ticket from 1 to 200 descents.

In theory, this resort should be great - a lot of lifts and slopes and affordable ski passes compared to Western-European resorts. In practice, 90% of slopes and lifts were closed because of lack of snow. Which I understand - the weather is unpredictable, that's just a sad fact. However, there are also slopes surrounded by snow canons which are never turned on. Never. There are literally mud patches on the tracks and they refuse to make more snow. Not to mention the awful rocks. There are fist-size rocks in the middle of tracks and countless little ones that damage your skis. This is so dangerous and irresponsible! No wonder that every day the rescuers had to take at least one person to the infirmary. The lifts for training areas require separate skipass. The only toilet I've found is just a hole in the ground. I've seen this type of toilet before, but I can't imagine using it while having ski boots and ski trousers on (as a woman). All of this makes me really sad, angry and disappointed - the mountain is beautiful and I see a lot of wasted potential there. I wish the owners would care more about quality and safety. I doubt I will return here in the future.

Best place.. Not crowded.. Hotels staff are approachable.. Knows English well. Not too far from the city.. Delicious delicacy... Affordable foods.. As far as I remember.. There Cheesecake ? ? delicious.. Mini disco is on the rock over there while relaxing from skiing.. Be there and have fun.. See yahhh next time..

Wonderful views. Wonderful nature. Good quality slopes and lifts. Poor organization of the resort. Huge lines on weekends. We waited in line for the ski pass for an hour! Only one out of three cash registers worked. Lots of people wanting to skip the line. Few ski lifts are open on weekdays. The resort is also very dependent on weather conditions. Of the 7 days of rest, 3 days were completely closed. Strong wind. The resort is more suitable for locals.
