Had a fabulous time there. Could have spent a day there. Highly recommended. Bring comfortable shoes and a cushion if you intend to sit for 1 1/2 hours as we saw a beautiful orchestra and superb singers with a beautiful atmosphere.

It was incredibly perfect. There are many wonderful works such as sculptures, stones, theater and library. It is truly incredible that such works from the past to the present have come to be intact. The only thing that upsets me is that you already pay a certain fee when you enter the ancient city, but they want extra money to go to the museum, which has turned the houses of the rich people of the period into a museum. this is so silly. other than that everything was great. there are also a lot of cats inside and they are quite friendly. don't forget to put water on the hollow stones for them?

One of the best and intact ancient settlements of today. Since the site is located on the hill, it is better to start through the upper entrance in order to go down through the incline. As the area is mostly open, the best time to visit is mid spring, when the sun is not very fierce :).

Excellent place, so much History. Our tour guide Mr. Taylan made it into an amazing story and literally made us feel like we were actually walking down the main road. Its a must see in Turkey. I recommend that you visit this place if you are making a trip to Turkey. Also contact Mr. Taylan (+905399414100) for an amazing experience !!!

A must see when in selçuk. Take a minibus to/from selçuk otogar. Plenty of cafes and ice cream shops outside the entrance. You have to hand in your ID to receive an audioguide, but it's definitely worth it. Lots of information boards too, not many people when I first entered (around 2:30pm mid-March). Plenty of friendly cats and photo opportunities (esp outside the Celsius library). The air here smells fresher than in the city, there is a beautiful silence about it too. There was an extra fee required to view the terrace houses

A must go for sure. Most amazing ancient city I've ever been in Turkey. They kept everything so neat and original. Just make sure you have sun screen and a bottle of water with you!

Highly recommend adding Ephesus to the list of must see things on your Turkey visit! You can take a train from Izmir and spend the whole day roaming around this ancient marvel! Involves a lot of walking in the hot sun though.

Very interesting place where the ancient history becomes real and, literally, tangible. The huge, well-preserved amphitheater, the magnificent facade of the library, public baths, wonderful mosaic floors and the wide streets of the Magnificent ancient Greek city. Of course, it is better to come here in not very hot weather, to get a maximum of impression without suffering from the heat. Do not be surprised by a large number of cats in Ephesus, they guard this place from snakes.
