I had a huge problem with unprofessional people last year in Cyprus and this year in Turkey with Enterprise Rent A Car (and rent your nightmare).
In Turkey, Dalaman airport last night:
- lied about the fleet (rented Volvo SUV and they say they do not have one in Dalaman, but they list one).
- charged for SUV gave me smaller car with cheap tires which makes the electronic board go crazy. When asked to be given what I rented or similar, I was told - “you don’t like, I give you money back and you go find another company”. (Jfyi, I will!!!) That is why I book a month in advance, so I can be in an airport without cars for me? Also, try to find the scratches on a dirty dirty car - get ready for spitting on your fingers and rub all the suspicious marks for a check.
- nobody I dealt with speaks proper English or has even manners (I am sure they have no customer service training). They also hang up on me a few times.
- when called for help in the middle of the road, in the middle of the night (just after I left the airport) in a foreign country, I was asked to send photo on Whatsapp. What??? They do not speak English. How am I supposed to
- gave the wrong instructions for arrival (delayed 2 hours). Not even a “sorry about it”.
In Cyprus, Larnaca, last year:
- gave me car with broken gear box, which failed me after 30 km drive. Had to go back with the pick up truck and we were delayed by 4/5 hours.
- again, no apology and even tried to blame me for that, saying that I cannot drive (because it took me a couple of minutes at departure from their parking to adjust to driving in the left). The Bulgarian lady was friendly initially but turned nasty when we came back...
- obviously they gave me a different car than the one booked.
- the so-called manager was unfriendly, rude and scruff. His dirty shoes and suit and his mood indicated that he probably came straight from the club (a very dirty club?) that day to work.
These are only the surface issues.
There is something VERY wrong with this company. It looks like there is no customer care and respect culture.
If you want to start your holidays right, look for alternatives.
Caveat: They bought many local companies. You get a name on the paper but when you get there they say that Enterprise bought them. Check online before!!!
Never ever ever again with this disappointing awful company! Even if it means to pay more - a frustrating and disguised start of your holiday is not worth the difference!

Hello.
Below I bring the facts from my experience with Enterprise. You can make your own conclusions about the quality of services provided by this company. I hope the description of my experience will help you choose a car rental company.
1) When booking, we specified the flight number (this option was offered by the company itself). This was supposed to help the company's employees deliver the car exactly at the time of our arrival.
When we left the airport, we found the Enterprise counter empty. The employee was absent, but was given a phone number at which it was necessary to contact him. At the same time, apparently, no one was worried that the client might not be able to call.
We found out where the Enterprise Parking lot was located from employees of competing companies whose counters were located nearby. After going to the Parking lot, we did not find any of the employees of this company. Again, an employee of another company helped, who called Enterprise and told them that customers were waiting for them.
In the heat of the Parking lot, we waited for about 20 minutes, after which the Enterprise employees arrived.
Fact: Enterprise does not know how to deliver cars exactly at the time of arrival, although the company itself States that such a service will be provided. The company's search/wait time was about 35 minutes.
2) We have reserved a Toyota Corolla hybrid. We were actually provided with a Toyota Corolla that had a small mileage (about 10,000 km), but it wasn't a hybrid. This meant that the fuel consumption will be higher than we expected when making the lease.
Fact: the car Provided differs from the one booked for the worse.
3) The condition of the car.
As I wrote above, the car's mileage was small. But! There was a zigzag crack in the windshield that ran the entire width of the car. I do not know what the rules are in Turkey (the place where we rented a car), but in our country, if such damage occurs, the car is considered technically defective and is not allowed to operate.
Indeed, such damage to the windshield interfered with driving.
Fact: the Enterprise company provides technically defective cars.
4) When booking, we ordered a child seat and specified the age range for this seat.
When we received the car, we were not provided with a child seat. Instead, they offered to take an old, dirty booster. What did this mean for us? First, it is a threat to the life and health of the child, since the booster is intended for older children, and for our child it could not be used. Secondly, the appearance and condition of the booster indicated that with a fairly intensive operation, it probably never cleaned, its cover did not wash. How much infection it contained is not known.
In fact, the absence of a child seat reserved by us in the car can be compared to if we were provided with a car that does not have seat belts for the driver and passengers. In other words, driving such a car is not only prohibited by traffic rules, but also creates a direct threat to life and health. But in this case, it was compounded by the fact that it concerns a child.
Fact: Enterprise provides vehicles that pose a direct threat to the life and health of passengers, and the operation of such a car is a violation of traffic rules.
5) We were forced to take at least a booster. In a dialogue with Enterprise employees, it became clear that they are not interested in correcting the situation and finding a child seat for us that was booked in advance.
Later (in a few days) I went to the Enterprise representative office in Alacati on my own (we took the car at the airport in Dalaman) to replace the booster with a seat. But this representative office did not have a child safety seat. An employee of this representative office recommended that I go to the Enterprise representative office at Izmir airport, where there should have been child seats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience! The car was nice and clean. We were picked up from the airport and driven to the office. Paperwork went smoothly and the employees were very polite. On dropoff, we went to the office and filled up at the petrol station nearby, and we were driven to the airport. Very good Enterprise location and fantastic customer service.

They gave my family a FAULTY CAR that had hole in its gas tank. We bought a whole tank that ran out after 50 km. The car was leaking GAS and we could have been SERIOUSLY HURT.
After we notified the fault, a tow truck came and took away the car. However, they failed to replace the car and left us stranded and ruined our holiday plans.
Thank you for nothing enterprise.
Definitely not recommende. Very dissapointing for a company at their caliber.
