If you want, you can come to Emir Bayindir Kumbet by car, park here, visit the Ahlat Seljuk cemeteries, and come back to your vehicle. If you want, you can park at the Selcuklu Cemeteries on the opposite main road. At the end of the cemeteries, there is Emir Bayindir Kumbet. Because there are 2 entrances, one of them is Emir Bayindir Kumbeti at one end. Dogeri cemetery entrance is at the other end of the field.

The architecture of the vault is different from most vaults in Anatolia, and it is also known as the "Fringed Vault" among the people because of the eight short columns around it. In the inscription that surrounds the building on the upper side, it is stated that Bayındır Bey died in Ramadan of 886 (November 1481) and his life is explained with his titles. It was built by his wife Shah Selime Hatun upon the death of Bayındır Bey. It is known that Emir Bayındır is the grandson of the Akkoyunlu ruler Uzun Hasan. There is also a small mosque just behind the cupola.

The white inscription on the wall of the mosque indicates that the architect of the cupola and mosque, Amele Baba Can, came to Ahlat from Baku. It is estimated that this building in Baku was also built by the same master.
