Eski caminin yerine 1,5 yılda Etimesgut Belediyesinin "4 manevi eser" projesi kapsamında yeniden yapılarak 2018 Eylül'de ibadete açıldı. Kayseri taşından, o dönemin ruhuna uygun olarak yapılmış, şadırvanlı, Ahi Elvan türbeli cami. Türbe, caminin avlusunda güney doğu kısmında. Ahi Elvan türbesinde iki kabir var. Cami ve Ahi Elvan'ın türbesi Yusuf Hemedani'nin Türkmenistan/Merv'deki cami ve türbesine benzer tarzda yapılmaya çalışılmış. Ahi Elvan Türbesi; onun gibi dikdörtgen alanda, sarı taştan, etrafı açık, üstü kubbemsi, içi görünür sanduka olacak şekilde. Camisi ise çatısız ve üstü düz, küçük minareli ve gene Türkmenistan/Merv modeli şeklinde. Zaten Türk Beyleri Kent Meydanı, Ahi Elvan Aile Yaşam ve Eğitim Merkezi ve Ahi Elvan Türbesi ve camisi ile bu bölgede Orta Asya havası kendini hissettiriyor. Ahi Elvan, Elvan köyünün kurucusu olan ahi ereni. Ankara Altındağ ilçesinde (kalenin orada) bir Ahi Elvan Cami daha var. Ahi Elvan'ın kabri 7'ler kabristanı dedikleri Ankara Kalesinin altındaki türbededir. Buradaki (Etimesgut'taki) iki kabirin ise kardeşlerine ait olduğu söylenmekte. Yani bir nevi makam diyelim.
