★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes, it might be in a historic building within a historic area but that's about all this hotel has going for it. The upkeep leaves a lot to be desired. Staff is very kind and friendly, breakfast was less than average, and as stated earlier the general upkeep is below par.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stay here twice, in April 2016 and April 2019. The hotel is very antique, but the price is very high. Although it is the standards of all Sanliurfa hotels I believe
The breakfast is served fresh, and the amenities are good, but the cleanliness of the room can be improved I guess

This hotel is a great option to stay in Şanliurfa: all facilities are great, room and bedding are very comfortable, there is hot water anytime of the day, there is bottled water and coffee, breakfast is super delicious and staff is very helpful and friendly (I would like to mention Mustafa in particular is very kind, hospitable and friendly).
Location is also great, there are many restaurants and Cafes nearby, a station where a bus is departing to the airport every hour, Balıklıgöl, the archeology museum and mosaic museum are very close (10 minute walk) and overall, the neighborhood is really quiet.
I would definitely book here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very authentic and historical atmosphere. Stone building with wooden ceiling. The room I was given had its own terrace with nice view facing to structure’s yard. The hotel is located in central Şanlıurfa and Balıklıgöl, citadel and city musems are within walking distance. Mehmet Bey was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was personal and well prepared with every detail of local Turkish cuisine. The hotel offers private parking too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Especially for fans of boutique hotels. This little hotel adjacent to the old church-turned-mosque has once belonged to the church complex and was the quarters for the clergy. The staff were wonderfully pleasant and helpful and the inner courtyard was great to sit around and have a tea. The room was of a modest size but the bed (oh the bed) was probably the most comfortable bed I slept in since arriving in Turkey. So if one doesn’t mind a brief wake up at 5am from the mosques loudspeakers you’re in for a treat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my husband had such and amazing experience staying here. We stayed 3 nights and the place is sooo beautiful very authentic and historical atmosphere. Mustafa, the owner, was super nice and attentive, from the first moment helped us with our plans in Sanliurfa. He helped us to rent a car and also did with us a walking tour. The room had its own terrace with nice view facing to the yard and the hotel is super well located in central Şanlıurfa, you can go walking to Balıklıgöl, citadel and city musems. The breakfast was traditional and delicious and the place is sparkling clean. 200% recommended!! We would come again here for sure!
