★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here primarily because we wanted a lunch with a view. The restaurant did not disappoint at all. Not only was the view great, the food was excellent. Everything we ordered was delicious : aubergine ravioli, sea bass, and apple chimiee for dessert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful place with good service, great food and a cosy fireplace. If vegetables were standardly included in the dishes (I had a perfectly cooked lambchop with sautéed potatoes) the prices would match their value and this would be a 4 star rating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place! I have been there many times and the food, service and atmosphere are always wonderful. Definitely share their spinach salad as it is delicious. They have a fireplace in the winter and in the summer you can sit on the terrace with views of the Valley and watch the sunset. I have tried other newer places in Uçhisar but Elai is the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant goes all the way back to the times when there were no roads to take you to it. A very long history has seen the kitchen transform from a French dominated one to a more world cuisine having touches from Lebanon to France and of course to Turkey. Spinach salad and Pumpkin desert are musts. Try and pair your menu with local wine from Turasan or Kocabag.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately the food we had were rather disappointing. Lamb shank has next to no meat in it, lamb chops are cold and well done. The only good main course was the beef ribs. If you only care about the atmosphere this one nailed it quite well
