I was really surprised to see it. It resembles the tower of Pisa. The curvature is more than it appears in the photos. The minaret was tried to be fixed with steel ropes. If you come to the center of Aksaray, I definitely recommend you to stop by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Leaning Minaret is a plain and simple masterpiece dating from the Seljuk era of Anatolia (aka Rum meaning Rome). It is in Aksaray, between Konya and Kayseri. Seljuk architecture and culture definitely deserves higher appreciation.
