★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting Efes you should have a least 5 hours to look around. First it looks just a lot of stones but it is a history. Having a good tour guide is very helpful. Read the information tables and you make a photo for later review. Ona practical site have a sun cream and big bottle of water. Inside you can buy it.
Definitely go on the top of the theatre. The view is great and you can image where the sea was before. Yes Efes was a port but now is far from the sea. Go to visit to hear the entire story

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning place. Guides know there stuff so if you want help learning some history, grab yourself a guide! Tourist shop is a little pricey, as to be expected, so if you need a drink or some food, grab it feom the little shops set up by locals outside the gates! Dont forget to haggle! Go, see, learn, have fun!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderfully maintained ruins. Our tour guide helped us get an insight into the grandeur of the place. The amphitheater & the majestic library stand tall reminding us of the grand past. Loved it !
It got a little warm though as the day progressed so hats & sunscreen are a must.
There are souvenir shops & eating joints at the entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful site. Wonderful to walk around and learn about the history of this place. Hard to get to but totally worth it. Recommend getting a guide so you can make the most of your time here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy place to notice for the entrance to most incredible complexes of archeology sites Ephesus. The best place to assemble for both entrance and exit before merry up for coach transfer to next destination. Many cats here ..... and it was strange because they are so cute, look healthy and clean cats. Full of shops that you may buy locals souvenirs and famous fresh pamogranate juice or orange juice from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place. Even though it's all ruins, it's amazing for photographers. It's quite big and you end up spending a lot of time. It took a lot of time for us to get to this place. If plan better, you can cover this and a couple other places around. Only downside was that we had to wait for a while in the queue for the entry ticket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super amazing! You must see this! Be aware: it is super warm. Come as early as possible, make sure to have enough water with you, sunscreens etc! Prices in 2021 July were 120 lira to enter the site and 55 lira in addition to see the terrace houses.
