I took my mother to Dunya Eye Hospital Ankara Tunis branch, 1) working staff were very unhappy 2) the doctor explained all the details, but when he was prescribing glasses, he wrote both far and near and there were technically inconsistent data (later he understood the a*****optical error and told us). We were directed to the store, where they applied the wrong prescription, and they charged 7.000 TL for glasses and frames (50% discount for Dünya Eye Hospital patients). We asked God to ask a corporate optician, and despite their insistence, we did not get it. When we went to A**, we saw that the prescription was written incorrectly and that there was a huge difference between the prices. After reaching the hospital and the doctor, even if it was difficult, and having the prescription corrected, we had glasses and the same quality glasses of the same brand made from the a***** store for 1,200 TL. After 2 days, they called because we gave a low score in the satisfaction survey, I said I have something to tell you, would you call me in 10 minutes because I was at the sink, but they never called again.

After sustaining a serious injury in my eye, I received excellent care from the doctors at Dünyagöz. I highly recommend.

Absolutely OVERRATED with a capital O!!! It was the worst experience ever! Dunyagoz is the worst thing that can happen to anyone. Just stay away and consider other options! They can mess up with your contact lenses and act like nothing's happened. It's sad to see that all the service you receive (can't even receive) isn't worth the hundreds of liras they make you pay!!! I was planning to get a laser operation but God forbid! They can't even prescribe the accurate lenses and glasses!!! HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE!

Horrible service. Doctor was looking exhausted and displeased. The use of eye eqiupment was horribly irresponsible, they put me under a slit lamp, which could damage my eye by itself. I had no idea what I was going into but by the time I realized they were firing a blazing white lazer beam into my eyes they were already doing it. Since the doctor was looking furious I was too embarassed to actually protest. They tried to transfer me to their glass shop afterwards. I might have permanenly damaged my eye there where I went for a check up. I used to think the nearsightedness was reversible but after putting my eyes under that lazer beam I'm not even sure if I'm going to see as clear again. I really felt like it screwed up my eyes. After the examination I found out that there are a number of academic articles about the potential damages of slit lamps; the use of this equipment without informing me about it was inexplicable. Maybe I'm too supersensitive but it simply wasn't the kind of service I was expecting to get.

The quintessential example of the combination of irresponsibility, recklessness and sleaziness. You make all the necessary arrangements, cancel all your appointments, postpone your plans, do several tests, spend money and come to the hospital from another town for your surgery, then when the time comes, you learn that your doctor took a few days off without informing you. Even the staff including her own assistant had no idea about the doctor's schedule and did not bother to inform you or make up for this unacceptable sleaziness. Do you really want your surgery to be undertaken by such an irresponsible and careless doctors and staff? We consider ourselves lucky as we only lost some time and money. After this morning, we realized that we should be grateful as we may even lose our sight because of this horrible structure (I can't even call it as hospital to not downgrade the meaning of hospital). Disgraceful.

Went to Ankara Kavaklidere location as a cataract patient and received consultation from one of their top doctors. I was prescribed an expensive toric lens to also correct my astigmatism. However source of my astigmatism was not corneal but lenticular, i.e. it was mainly due to my natural lenses which will removed anyway. So an intraocular occular implant (IOL, the artificial lens) does not need to correct this non issue. This was a huge red flag for me since this is a well known fact for even early career doctors. During the consultation doctor was on the phone talking about something personal. Maybe that distracted him but definitely not an excuse and not professional to receive such calls. So basically 2 stars due to the fact that everyone was polite including the doctor himself and he called later and backtracked on the toric lens after I challenged him a little. I have a feeling that they might be more concerned with monetary gains than health of their patients. So I don't recommend Dunyagoz to others at this point. Go somewhere else for sure. In fact at the end I went elsewhere and the outcome was excellent with regular non toric lenses. No surprises there. So do your research please, get a second and third opinion if you can afford it. This could be one of the most critical decisions in your lifetime.
