Kütahya Dumlupınar University

Physical Condition Dumlupınar University has two campuses: Evliya Çelebi and Germiyan Campus, and 10 separate districts and campus areas in the city center of Kütahya. Evliya Çelebi Campus has an area of ​​over 7500 decares (7.887.684 m²). The entrance to the campus is provided by the Ottoman-Seljuk construction style, which is the architectural philosophy of the university constructions, in the form that embraces the incoming people, the towers with two large towers in the middle, shrinking sideways and the arched entrances between these towers. With the existing structure in the campus area, a wide ring road surrounding the campus was created, and vehicles were prevented from entering the faculty blocks. Vehicle and pedestrian circulation areas are largely separated from each other. There is a large square of 160 × 300 m when you enter from the campus entrance door. The Rector's Building is located opposite the entrance door on the same axis as the door. On the north and south side of the square, there are the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering and their faculty deanship and teaching buildings. Five pools were built between the entrance door and the Rectorate building in the square. Between the pools and the Rectorate building, there is the statue of Atatürk, the symbol of the university, and the Dumlupınar Monument, built in memory of the martyrs of the Battle of Dumlupınar Square. In Evliya Çelebi Campus, there is also a pond, an artificial climbing mountain for the mountaineering club, an open concert area and a building called Bedesten with a post office, bank branch, restaurants and buffets. In order to meet the accommodation needs of students and faculty members, there are 520 Dormitory Dormitories for students in Evliya Çelebi Campus, outside the dormitory buildings of the Kredi Yurtlar Kurumları.
