★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to buy and learn about the history of a turkish carpet!! Erkan, the owner, is wonderful and so friendly. It was an amazing mini tour. We were here for an hour learning about the rich history of the store. He patiently explained the history and styles of the various carpets, happily pulling out dozens of carpets while doing so. He's honest and gives a great price for the carpets. Don't go anywhere else. Buy your turkish carpets from Goreme here!

Özgür has an amazing eye and knows just what to suggest based on individual taste. HIGHLY recommend shopping here - I grew up in Kapdokya and can honestly say this is my favorite carpet shop I’ve been in.

Ozgur showed us many models that we liked and I felt he understood what we were looking for very fast so he was able to cater to our needs very well. He has ample knowledge of his products (technique, motives, history,...) and I appreciated his guidance very much. He was very comfortable and pleasant to work with in choosing a model and we left the shop super happy with the purchase. It was a completely different experience than in other carpet shops we've entered in Turkey. Highly recommended!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Özgür was beyond friendly and was absolutely not pushy with sales at all. He demonstrated a deep understanding of traditional dowry carpets and we were lucky to have learned from him! As a beginner or novice carpet collector, I felt confident that he was providing fair prices for great quality. As a tourist in Cappadocia, it would have been easy to take advantage of me. But this was not the case. I even compared the pricing to several other vendors in the area, through trusted sources, and found that everything about this establishment is genuine. Thanks again, Özgür! We will be back!!
