Opening of the Turkish Automobile Factory Inc. (TOFAŞ) in 1971; With the establishment of Sönmez ASF Facilities in 1975, industrial formation started in today's Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone (DOSAB). The number of companies operating in the region increased in the 1980s, and the representatives of these companies established the Demirtaş Industrialists Association (DSD), whose current name is DOSABSİAD (Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone Industrialists and Businessmen Association), on 29 January 1987. As a result of the initiatives of the association, the establishment of Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone was planned within the scope of the investment program published in the Official Gazette dated 24 December 1989 and numbered 20382, and DOSAB was established in 1990. Within the scope of the Organized Industrial Zones Law No. 4562, which entered into force on 15 April 2000, the establishment protocol was registered on 06 April 2001 and gained legal personality. DOSAB was managed by the Enterprising Committee until 2009 and passed to the General Assembly process in the same year. As of 2016, 305 of 347 industrial parcels are full. The number of active companies is 428 and employment is 41 thousand. In 2016; 14 between ICI Turkey's Largest Industrial Enterprises in 1000, 250 participants from 43 DOSAB Large Firms in Bursa BCCI is firm ground. All kinds of infrastructure and superstructure investments complement the quality of the participants, which produces seamless and affordable services, creates the difference with social facilities and social projects DOSAB are among the successful examples of the application of OSB in Turkey.
