Kilise kendi halinde her hangi bir bakım ve onarıma alınmamış tahrip edilmiş bir durumdadır. Zemini defineciler tarafından kazılmış duvarların üzeri isimlerle doldurulmuş olmasından dolayı bu muhteşem konumda imar edilen muhteşem yapı gereken değeri görmemektedir. Her şeye rağmen böyle bir coğrafyada taş oymacılığı incelikleri ile imar edilen bu tarihi eser görülmeye değerdir. Gerçi restore edilmek istense bile aslına uygun yapılıp yapılamayacağı da bir muammadır.
