I went to Dr.Cengiz Bey for Orthodontic treatment. Braces had to be fitted. I have been receiving treatment for 3 years. After wearing braces for 1.5 years, I started using the apparatus used after braces. Now I am using braces again. There are several reasons why I am not satisfied with Dr. First of all, due to Covid-19, it is necessary to be more hygienic, but the basic precaution taken consists of only wearing a mask. Unfortunately, the doctor does not use gloves. Despite our warnings, she ignores it. Instead of not listening to his patient, he pretends not to understand or makes statements that have nothing to do with it and glosses over the subject. Although he washes his hands, I do not think it is hygienic and I am not happy with hands with disinfectant in my mouth. I saw that the materials used were not changed, but instead put in a machine. I know that in regular dentists, the equipment is changed after each patient, so this bothered me. I'm not sure how the machine used cleans the equipment but I just wanted to point it out. In short, I don't find it hygienic enough and this is the biggest thing that bothers me. When I took the second apparatus, which was worn during the treatment process, to Mr. Doctor, I mentioned that it was constantly coming out because I could not use it properly. While Mr. Doctor was trying to adjust the apparatus, his adjustment became more distorted, I started to put the mouthguard again instead of the apparatus, and the apparatus was thrown away by Cengiz Bey. While my teethers were being reattached, the Doctor did the procedure quickly in order not to admit that it was an easy procedure and that he made a mistake, so he put too much glue on the teethers. When I told the doctor about my problem from the next meeting, it was the same as the previous time I used the teether (it was too much glue). ) but he said I didn't notice, but I know that's not true. As a result, I have used the teethers for a long time. Since there is too much glue in my current teethers, too much glue comes from under the metal part and there is excess glue on my teeth. It is more difficult to remove food residues while eating and it looks dirty no matter how many times I brush my teeth. It's like it has food leftovers on it. But beyond that, I don't think it's bad to use teethers again. On the contrary, I think it is more comfortable, so I requested the same treatment on my lower teeth. However, although the Doctor had previously said that he would do the same thing on my lower teeth if it was more comfortable to use, he immediately rejected me. In our next meeting, I asked for the same thing to be done at least 3 more times, but we were given a negative answer on the grounds that in any case an apparatus would be used later. I would like to point out that the use of teether again is not a wrong treatment. I had to use a new apparatus because of my use of the wrong apparatus, but this apparatus was for applying force instead of keeping the teeth fixed. I had to install another apparatus because I misused the plastic mold apparatus used after the dental treatment. So we basically paid more for the apparatus and the same thing could have been done with the teethers. However, at the very beginning of the use of the second apparatus, we had to pay separately for that apparatus, as Doctor found it difficult to put the teether on again. In general, I think that Doctor Bey is not hygienic enough, cannot accept his mistakes, does not listen to his patients, when he is told about his mistakes, he is sharpened towards his patients and is a bit too harsh towards his patients. While this treatment should not hurt at all, Doctor Bey damaged my gums many times while using his equipment. There were times when it stretched my mouth too much, there were times when I came out of the cynic with my lips bleeding. Although I will spend the rest of my treatment with another doctor, I want to keep my name confidential.
