I'm giving this hospital 3 out of 5 stars because: 1) it performs procedures other government hospitals aren't equipped to do 2) it's cost-effective for lower incomes 3) it's a teaching hospital Scheduling appointments are only accepted once a week within a four hour span. The hospital sits outside the city center, utterly remote and inaccessible without a car, taxi, or bus schedule. Patients are required to pay a 5TL cash fee in exchange for a plastic card with their info - completely unnecessary. Most patients did not receive same-day care. The waiting list for appointments could range from 1-8 weeks (depending on availability). Staff largely consists of incompetent students. Tools are out-dated and archaic. "Teachers" vastly implement a "hands on approach" with students - surgical students were offered limited verbal guidance and patients were left to suffer undue pain and suffering. Post-surgery, patients are offered nothing, no prescriptions for pain management. Patients are simply advised not to use aspirin for pain. I would strongly advise anyone in need of dental services to consider a private dentist in their area. Conditions are cleaner and more relaxed, and treatments are quickly performed by a licensed professional.
