★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was highly recommend for the pottery kabab by our hotel (Pashahan hotel). I got the beef pottery kabab and I was not disappointed, the beef was cooked perfectly. My husband got the beef ribs, it was cooked the same, to PERFECTION! The beef was so tender. They also served us shepherds salad and pickled vegetables. My husband had the pottery kabab at another restaurant a couple days before coming here... THIS ONE WAS HANDS DOWN 100% better.

Welcoming and hosting also was good, Taste of meals was also nice but not perfect, price is not worth, it’s quite expensive and they stated there is no tea, so after dinner you cannot enjoy Turkish tea, but there is Turkish coffee

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful experience? it's a traditional Turkish restaurant, and everything in it is sure traditional! You eat sitting on the floor (so comfortable no worries) and sure you take your shoes off first. The lentil soup is to die for? and the kebab pottery is amazing! As for desert I tried Tel Kadayif the and it's also delicious, I recommend to have a tea with it on the side without sugar. I will visit again for sure before I leave Cappadocia??????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the best Turkish restaurant in Goreme. Comfy shoeless floor seating surrounded by fluffy pillows awaits you. This *is the place* to have Testi, kabob stew in a clay pot. We had beef and chicken and they were both fabulous. The house red wine is also excellent. It also got me nice and loopy. The hospitality was superb.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food; I think one of the better places in Goreme. The pottery meat kebab was tasty. Vegetable pottery kebab was fine. Ambiance was good.
I personally doesn’t like to sit on the ground, but that’s just my thing. So be ready that there are no chairs, just pillows and low tables. Prices a bit on higher end, but expected because of the location …

The restaurant is the corner of the main street and once you enter the staff is very friendly snd will show you to your table. You will have to take your shoes off and sit at the table - sitting down traditional style.
The mezze platter was great and highly recommended. It is served with bread.
We then got the pottery kebab and it is worth a try. The chicken one was great, cooked to perfection and must try.
The aside dessert is traditional and made from flour.

Even if it’s a little pricier than other restaurants, you can feel the difference in the dishes. For example the pottery kebab is very delicious and you can definitely spot the difference. (You should make a reservation of this dish beforehand).
The place is very cultural and it takes you back to their history.
The house wine is very tasty and they serve it in a very interesting clay pitch.
100% recommended!
