Diamond Marina Restorant

We were welcomed quite kindly and the food was decent. However, afterwards we had to wait for so long (almost 2 hours) that we were just about to leave when the meals finally arrived. Portion sizes are well below expectations. Also no side dish next to the fish except for a slice of lettuce and half an onion that tasted awfully. Our holiday was ruined. Great if you're looking for an authentic experience of getting ripped off.

Diamond Marina restaurant in Bodrum has fresh seafood and tasty appetizers. Bahri was very courteous and offered us a yummy spread of fresh sea bass, prawns and squids. The restaurant is well located in Bodrum centre, great views and amazing ambience. We had lunch here on 2 occasions, they even offered us complimentary Turkish tea.and fruits after our meal. We definitely will visit them again. Thank you Bahri and the staff of Diamond Marina.

Nice sea food with friendly atmosphere.

Tourist beware if you are having food at this place make sure you discuss prices ahead of time and that you know exactly what you’re getting we ordered 200 lira worth of lunch and was charged 1200 lira plus he then requested that we tip another 10%. Claiming that we had ordered something off the menu that was special he wanted to charge us an additional thousand lira for his trouble when I actually order directly from the menu but he offered to let us sample some other dishes which he said would be no charge but then he brought a bill five times what we originally wanted.

We ordered some seafood, the octopus was good, the calamari nothing Special, but all the gambas that we Had have been Bad. We didnt eat Them and told Them that they arent eadible anymore and the answer was: gambas from Turkey Taste Like that. We Had to pay more Then 35€ for a Plate with 4 pieces of seafood. IT was a joke i wouldnt recommend anyone to eat there

Spectacular to Mediocre In a world of negativity, I tend to save my review-writing for only positive experiences. Hence, I was torn about writing this one. I meant to write after our first visit (5 stars). Our second visit was SO mediocre, though, I definitely would have adjusted my 5-star review… so… We went twice and ordered the exact same foods both times. A salad (no photo), a spicy minced lamb kebab, and chicken schnitzel. The meals came with greens with pickled cabbage, rice, and potato. The first time, the food was exactly as advertised, appropriate temperatures, and truly the best food we had had on the corniche to that point. I hadn’t read others’ reviews prior to going, but I will add that our bill was accurate and our credit card was billed accurately both times. Food quantities were good (we left feeling full and satisfied — and we are big eaters). So, we went back the next week. The spicy minced lamb kebab I ordered was not even a little spicy this time (and no spicy peppers were included as they had been the first time), AND it was dry dry dry. The salads were fine (but I can do “fine” in my own kitchen). Photo is my meal the 2nd visit. (I never even tried the potatoes, but my husband liked them.) He says the chicken schnitzel was excellent both times, so I guess it’s just my meal that was so disappointing. Honestly, had it not been so delicious the week before, it would have just been another “ok” meal in touristy Bodrum… nothing to write about. Not sure if this is a chef issue, a server issue, or a lack of management on site issue, but we won’t be going back for mediocre. It’s too bad.

Amazing quite and fresh place in the center of Bodrum. Delicious ice cream (especially mango, melon and pistachios) , fresh juice and sea goods. Politely service. Everything is clean and pleasant

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! If you just sat down, RUN now you can. Every bad review is the truth (unfortunately)!! We waited 1.5-2 hours for our food! Very SMALL portions (see photos for reference). The calamares in the picture is all u get. THEY are not the best as he claims. We know our fish and mentioned this. The pastas are bland and uncooked. We are familiar with al dente but it is NOT al dente. Furthermore when we asked for the bill, the price was not correct. “The owner” added more and he added TAX that was never mentioned before. It might look busy but people are waiting for their food A LOOOOONG time. The heat and the waiting time makes that u have to eat this bad food.
