Tipik esnaf lokantası, kağıt kebabı lezzetliydi. Lahmacun hamuru ince ama malzemesi benim damak tadıma çok uymadı. Su,salata v.b ücretli. Fiyatlar uygun. 400 gr. Kağıt kebabı:48, fındık lahmacun: 3,5 TL.

Bu fiyata bu lezzet... Mutlaka denemenizi öneririm.

Dining in Destina Restaurant was one of the best experiences we had in the Province of Hatay. First of all, two things to keep in mind before you decide to dine here: 1) Alcoholic beverages can be consumed in this place, so, if you feel uncomfortable in such environments, you better plan your visit accordingly. 2) Apparently this place is best known for serving “meaty” foods; so, you should keep this in mind if you’re planning on dining here. The cooks there are apparently quite talented with very tasty and delicious recipes. The salads were remarkably good and fresh; and this is a relatively rare commodity when eating outside home, at least not in the not-so-luxurious restaurants. We tried several dishes in 2 visits with 2 days in between. 1) Tepsi Kebabı: which was the best by a marginal difference, 2) Kağıt Kebabı: which was quite good, although it could have been a bit more juicy, 3) Kanat Izgara and 4) Kemikli Tavuk: which was, for me personally, one the best grilled chicken I have ever had in Turkey, 5) Roka Salatası and 6) Kaşık Salatası which were flavourful, fresh salads that we were really pleased with. The seating and overall surroundings are decent enough with no major complaints to speak of. The overall service is good, and the waiters and waitresses are quite kind and welcoming, so much so that we happily gave a tip (which we don’t usually do) to a young lady who served us and helped us a lot (sorry, I really wish I could remember her name in order to mention her, if that even is a thing here). Finally, the pricing, although certainly not the cheapest, are well-thought and pretty justifiable when considering the quality of the food and service in the place. Overall, Destina Restaurant may not look like the fanciest of places, but the experience we had proved that there is more to the story than just the looks. I really hope they do well, and I urge them to keep up the quality and the well-thought pricings. Best wishes.
