A very good hotel near the center of Trabzon. The rooms are clean and modern, but also small something. The staff (especially in the restaurant) is very nice, helpful and courteous. A double room cost 200 TL (01/2022). The price / performance ratio is therefore more than good.

The hotel rooms are small. In comparison to every other hotel in Türkyie that I’ve stayed in. I’ve been ALL over Türkyie. This is my 4th visit. I’ve NEVER EVER experienced such an awful checkin. Adding to it he was the owner, boss of the hotel. Before coming I booked August 3-5. We decided instead of staying in Uzungöl to stay the extra night in Trabzon. I wanted to extend one extra day to our stay. I booked October 2nd by accident. Totally my fault. I booked non- refundable since it this was the next day. Minutes after realizing the days didn’t match the reservation I tried to cancel on Orbitz. The virtual assistant couldn’t help. Instead I called the hotel asked if it’s a problem to arrive tomorrow. The man I spoke with didn’t understand English. He yes’s me and said call tomorrow. The next morning on the way to Istanbul airport I called again. This time I got the owner. He said they’re full, he couldn’t help. I called Orbitz. I use them often throughout the year being I travel a lot. They were good enough to credit me a coupon. The next day arriving to the hotel I asked the man behind the desk if I spoke to him yesterday on the phone. He said yes answering again that he was full. I asked if he heard from the booking site asking if a refund was ok. They were reaching out to him to see if he’d accept the fact I made a mistake booking. He seemed mad I asked. He told me it I booked non- refundable. He wouldn’t honor a refund. I told him this is true the days are correct. The month I put was wrong. I’m not sure if he was angry I questioned him. He gave the kid next to him the room card. Told him to tell us WiFi. He didn’t welcome us. Never said a word. Turks are known for outstanding hospitality. This hotel wasn’t warm. I was shocked. Even refusing a refund he didn’t have to act this way. Don’t be mean or nasty to your guest! Maintain professionalism. We had no idea about WiFi. The kid never told us when he brought us up. Was there a restaurant on the property? When’s breakfast? Nothing! The breakfast was a tiny plate of food. I’ve stayed in a few other hotels that have small plates. This is bare minimum for what I’ve seen across the country. I asked if they had filter coffee or Turkish kahve. Most hotels will give you this no problem. Most ask upon checkin being polite. Obviously that didn’t happen. They told me for normal or Turkish coffee other than instant Nescafé it’s 10 tl extra. For us this isn’t a lot. At this point I felt the hotel is nickel and dimming everything. Which is a huge turn off for me. The rooms are clean. Moving around with luggage isn’t so ideal for two due to the small amount of space. The water pressure was light. One thing I look forward to in Türkyie. It’s one of the lightest I’ve experienced. Personally I’d rather stay somewhere people are good to me verse just being there for the room. The rooms are doable if that’s all you’re there for. The owner needs tourism and hospitality lessons from the locals. Unbelievable

Excellent hotel at a walking distance from downtown Trabzon. It's a new hotel, so the rooms and the hotel overall are well furnished and decorated, almost 4 stars quality. For the money I paid (200 Lira a night), it's really a bargain. The room are a pit small, but for a large family you can join two rooms together. The biggest downside was the lack of car parking, but there is a nearby (100 meters) paid otopark.
