This mosque is in the center of Talas. There is a park and ottoman house near the district governor. You can sit in the Ottoman house and chat and get cold hot drinks.

Yüzyıllardır İslâm beldesi olan Talas'ın müslüman halkının ibadete düşkünlüğünü biliyorum. Günlük namazlarımızı evlerimize yakın camilerde kılsak ta haftada bir kaç kez de Dedeoğlu Camiinde huzur içerisinde yerine getirebilmek için dostlarıma tavsiyelerimi sunuyorum. Bu hususta yüce Allah'a duâ ediyorum.

I know that the Muslim people of Talas, which has been an Islamic town for centuries, are fond of worship. Even if we make our daily prayers in the mosques close to our homes, I offer my friends a few times a week in order to perform them peacefully in Dedeoğlu Mosque. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Talasın en eski camiilerinden biridir. İlk yapıldığında küçük bir camiiydi. Talas nüfus arttıkça camiye eklemeler yaparak büyütüldü. Bende çok bayram namazı anıları var bu camiide. Bende bayram gibi hüzünlü ve tatlı anıları beni her zaman duygulandırır. Mevlam yapılan ibadetleri kabul ve makbul eylesin İnşallah....
It is one of the oldest mosques in Talas. It was a small mosque when it was first built. As the population increased, Talas was enlarged by making additions to the mosque. I have many Eid prayer memories in this mosque. Sad and sweet memories like a holiday always make me emotional. May my lord accept and accept the prayers done inshallah..... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
