No natural lighting in the rooms, very humid. We froze at night, there were only sheets. Hot water comes at 10 hours, it's already your check-out time. Not a hotel by rating.

It's a fantastic place, the owner and staff are very caring, the place and its street will take you back to the 12th century…

We have a long way to go, we decided to stay in Mardin for one night, and we chose this mansion, which is affordable for the price. Some of the comments were bad, but I didn't mind as I was staying for one night. But my admiration started at the entrance of the hotel. I had the chance to see the hotel rooms, they were all very authentic and clean. The room we will stay in, be it sheets, pillows, beds and towels smelled like immaculate. The breakfast was very good, even half left. Someone wrote missing staff, what is your business with ? I am very satisfied, I recommend, the location will be very good, you go where you want to go by walking ?

We really had a disgrace with our money. On the phone, they said that there is no smoking, you can stay in the king suite to smoke, so we paid an extra 250 liras and kept that room. When we got to the hotel they said we can't smoke there either. They put an empty cleaning kit in the room they call the king suite, there was neither toothbrush nor toothpaste, nothing. The room had not been cleaned. Kettle, tea, coffee, etc., even in the most lousy hotels. Did not have. The mini fridge had nothing but 2 small waters. The refrigerator was not clean either. The friends at the reception were never interested. When we asked for a cleaning kit, they were never taken care of and we were told that there is no such thing. Which they did not think to remove the empty one from the room. We waited for the end of the private phone call for exactly 10 minutes to check out from the hotel. I have stayed in many hotels in various parts of Turkey, I have never had such a disgraceful experience in such a beautiful city for such a price. Although the interior of the hotel is very nice, unfortunately there is a terrible business. I hope it gets fixed or it will be a shame.

I definitely do not recommend. Let this be the last place you will stay in Mardin. There is no service anywhere, even zero smiles anyway. If you come late at night, they may not open the door, it's funny... no hygiene, no room service, no drinks in the rooms. I can say that the first place I made a bad review.
